An opportunity in consolidation

In collaboration with America’s leading health solutions retailer, C.H. Robinson has built out a consolidation program servicing a number of suppliers, and becoming their sole consolidator. This program has become a model for other consolidation programs for major retailers (Walmart, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, ULTA, etc.).

Pourri initially was running prepaid LTL into this retail pharmacy leader yielding OTIF scores of 67.24%. This required engagement with each of the health retailer’s 23 DCs, manual tracking for each outbound shipment, researching various LTL carriers for each lane, and calculating transit times to back into ship date.

After successfully integrating into the retail Consolidation program with C.H. Robinson, Pourri yielded an on-time compliance score of 96.2% in 2024. They saw 22.8% cost avoidance.

Continuing to drive cost savings

Through route optimization, dynamic pricing, and selective carrier booking, the program reduced Pourri’s transportation costs, penalties, and retailer chargebacks on 628 of 666 shipments. With real-time analytics and streamlined communication, they reached a 98.23% OTIF score in Q1 of 2025.
